As part of my postgraduate studies at MUSEALOG, I am conducting research into objects originating from the M-Aktion. In May and July 1943, furniture ‘from Holland’ was put up for sale at Bensersiel harbour and purchased by the local population. Now a new generation ‚re-discovers‘ these objects in their living rooms or kitchens and offers them to the museum. What is the best approach here?
