In celebration of the 2026 International Day of Provenance Research, MacKenzie Mallon, Head of Provenance, and Ling-en Lu, Curator of Chinese Art at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City announce they have co-authored an article in the March/April 2026 issue of Orientations magazine titled „Collecting Song Dynasty Paintings: Provenances of the Nelson-Atkins Museum’s Collection.“ The provenance of one of these paintings will be featured on the museum’s social media on 8 April 2026.
